Fine art and Photography

Photography as an art is my passion. Being able to share world views and social commentary is so important to me and the way I choose to express myself is through art. I typically work with alternative processes in photography which allows me to create physical pieces of art. Being hands on is what drew me to alternative process in the first place and it is still my favorite form of photography.

FAQ

What is cyanotype?

Cyanotype is a salt based dye that is uv reactive and turns blue after treatment!

Where do you show your art?

I am local to Bellingham and display work all over town! Typically you can find my work in shows featured by the Viking Union Gallery on Western Washington University's campus.

How do you find opportunities to display work?

I am a part of a brilliant artist collective called the Society for Photographic Education or SPE for short. We organize and coordinate all of our own shows. The biggest thing I have learned is there are so many more opportunities to show work within any community.
